Termination – Relocation

A group of like-minded investment banking professionals who were interested in creating an environment where they could focus solely on the interests of clients they have been retained to advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital raises, divestitures and restructuring, and to provide formal valuations, fairness opinions, contract negotiations, and advice to special committees of boards of directors, advice on initial credit ratings, expert testimony, policy development, and market analysis.

WRE Advisors was retained to help negotiate on a termination of their existing lease and find a new office location.  They ended up in the iconic First Canadian Building.  They wasn’t the first time we helped Morrison Park, thank you again!



When a premier Latin American precious and base metals producer needed a new office, WRE helped find and negotiate on a new office in the high profile Toronto-Dominion Centre.

This was not the first time we’ve worked with this tenant we were very lucky to find a solution that fit their needs perfectly.


Relocation -Extenuating Circumstances

Raising the bar since 1963 – Authentic butchers and the city’s finest prepared fare. Peerless, personal service and the most diverse collection of gourmet, artisanal and imported products.  For more than 50 years, they’ve set the standard for what it means to live, and eat, well in Toronto.

Losing their office to fire thay were lucky enough to have partner companies house staff until they could find a new location.  Timing couldn’t have been worse with Sakes Fifth Avenue stores to open in just weeks.  WRE worked diligently and ironically the WRE principal on holidays standing in a Sakes Fifth Avenue store was able to finalize the last step to secure thier new location.


Top Secret

We can’t tell you who they are but we can tell you this company is listed on Forbes top 100 global luxury brands they’re a fashion leader.  When they needed to open a new HQ in Toronto they called on us for independent, uninfluenced market information to help find and negotiate on their new Toronto office.


Triumph Capital is a Toronto-based firm that has over thirty years of experience providing personalized service and a unique, comprehensive look at the needs of its clients, both for today and the future; Investor Services, Life Insurance and Health Insurance.

WRE Advisors helped in a rebranding exercise that included relocating to a ‘very cool’ brick and beam building in the heart of Liberty Village.


Sublease – Disposition

Donald McLeod, an accomplished litigator who was appointed to sit on the bench of the Ontario Court of Justice, retained WRE Advisors to dispose of their current office as the firm decided the space was no longer needed. Leveraging market research, WRE Advisors was able to take the space to market and sublease it recovering 100% of the remaining obligation left on the lease. This allowed the McLeod Group to cleanly and efficiently exit their office space responsibility. 

Relocation – Growth Related

Loftily self-described as the “credit card killer”, this Canadian company is actively working to attack the U.S. market. Financeit allows businesses to offer point-of-sale consumer lending with instant decisioning. With a network of banks to finance the deals and merchants to sell great products, Financeit takes care of loan origination, underwriting, funding, payments, servicing and even collections.

Growth forced the relocation of this dynamic company.  WRE Advisors successfully advised Financeit through the process of securing a new office on the downtown Toronto’s West side.  With growth from less than ten staff to more than 60 in a relatively short period of time, planning was difficult. WRE Advisors was able to advise on a relocation strategy that included a relocation to a larger premises, financial modelling and lease negotiations, which included a strategy for growth within the building.



Boutique, chic and just cool apartments rentals coming to Toronto, Oben Flats with a series of sublime rental properties in Cologne and Dusseldorf. In a culture where privileged rentals was the norm, their properties pushed the boundaries even further.  They develop modern, contemporary spaces that appeal to the city’s most discerning residents, they quickly became renowned for their caliber of spaces.

With four building under construction in Toronto and more to come, they needed an office that is as unique and chic as the buildings they build.  With an address in a building called ‘Designers Walk’ it couldn’t have been a more perfect fit.



When a change in government policy forced St. Joseph’s Health Care to make a change in the way they deliver some services within the GTA, WRE Advisors helped find an immediate solution.  Avoiding the downtime of negotiation a lease and enduring construction the group was up and running within days in a fully furnished work environment.



A marketing innovation workshop.  They make ads, but they are not a traditional ad agency.  They have launched successful experimental marketing campaigns, but are not and experiential company. They are the digital and social media AOR for major clients, but are not a digital shop.  They have been lauded for their design work, but are not a design firm.  They are non of these, and yet all of them.

When HQVB needed a new office they gave WRE Advisors ‘the nod’ to find a space as innovative as their company.



They continue to grow and take on more office space, a truly inspiring Toronto fintech success story we’ve had the honor to help with their growth again.
